What Does The Bible Say About The Week?

God's word doesn't focus on the week as a unit of time the way we do with calendars and schedules. Instead, the Bible is laser-focused on the gospel—what Jesus did for us! The real blessing isn't about how we structure our days or weeks, but about hearing, guarding, and sharing the gospel deep in our hearts. Jesus said, "blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it"—that means holding onto the gospel, not just obeying a set of rules or rituals. It's not about what we do for God each week, but about what He's already done for us through Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. That's the good news! When we focus on the gospel, every day—every week—becomes an opportunity to live in the joy, peace, and freedom that comes from knowing we're saved by grace, not by our own works. So, don't get caught up in routines or religious checklists. Let the gospel be the heartbeat of your week, your life, your everything!
