"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
- John 3:16
Let me tell you straight—God's word is crystal clear about relationships: everything starts and ends with your relationship with Him. If you want to know how to love, how to forgive, how to stay loyal, how to serve, how to build a marriage that doesn't fall apart like the world around us, you gotta start with God. The Bible says your relationship with God is the root, and every other relationship is just the fruit. If the root is rotten, the fruit will be too. That's why so many people today are lost in hookup culture, divorce, cheating, and just bouncing from person to person—they're trying to manufacture love and loyalty from their own brokenness. But you can't give what you don't have!
The gospel is the answer. It's not just a ticket to heaven—it's the blueprint for every relationship. The gospel shows you what real love looks like: Jesus laying down His life for you, loving you when you were at your worst, forgiving you when you didn't deserve it. When you get that, when you let that truth hit your heart, it changes how you treat everyone else. You stop demanding perfection from others because you know you didn't have it either. You start serving, forgiving, and loving—not because they deserve it, but because God did it for you first. That's why the gospel is the foundation, the correction, and the instruction manual for all relationships. You want to fix your marriage, your friendships, your family? Start with the gospel. Let it correct you, let it show you how to move, how to love, how to operate. That's the only way it works.
