“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”
- 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Here's the context: Paul is writing to believers who are surrounded by wickedness and opposition. He doesn't tell them to toughen up or fight harder. He says, "God is faithful. He will keep you safe." That's the Gospel! It's not about you holding on to God—it's about God holding on to you. Jesus faced the ultimate evil on the cross, took the hit for us, and now stands as our shield. You don't have to be afraid of evil, because the One who conquered death is the One who keeps you safe. Trust Him, not yourself. That's real protection.
