"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."
- 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
God's word says that real life—the kind that matters, the kind that lasts—is found in Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that we were all dead in our sins, but Jesus came and died for everyone so that we could have life through Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says, "For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." That means our old life is gone, and now we live for Jesus, not for ourselves!
And how does this tie to the gospel? The gospel IS the message of life! It's the good news that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again so that anyone who believes in Him can have eternal life. The gospel isn't about working harder or being better—it's about trusting what Jesus did for you. When you believe the gospel, your name is written in the Book of Life. That's how you ""enter"" into real life—by faith in what Jesus did, not by your own efforts. So, the whole Bible points to this: Life is in Jesus, and the gospel is the door.
